I’ll discuss the Endurance Race, one of their premier sports wireless earbuds. JBL provides different wireless earphones for regular use, but the Endurance Race is for long-term sports use. Look and feel

These sporty headphones prioritize comfort and durability. The endurance race is designed for athletic use and may be easily integrated into many exercise types. Overall, the design is comfortable and robust. I didn’t run in these, but I wouldn’t worry.

Features and Specifications

Despite its 6-mm drivers, each earbud produces substantial bass. There is no active noise cancellation (ANC); however, JBL calls the transparency modes Ambient Aware and TalkThru. This first one allows you to hear ambient noise in, while the latter boosts vocal frequencies for brief conversations without taking the buds out. These JBL buds lack wear-detecting sensors, which I expected considering their pricing. SBC and AAC are supported by these Bluetooth 5.2 earbuds. The Ambient Aware setting improves noise cancellation, but most exercise requires situational awareness, so it doesn’t completely block out background sounds.

Battery life

The JBL Endurance Race has great battery life. The business promises 10 hours for the buds and 30 hours with the charging case, and they’re right. While the loudness was close to 75% throughout the test, one earbud lasted nearly 9 hours before dying, while the other had 20% remaining. That must be one of the longest battery lives. We now know why they weigh over 12 grams.

Price and verdict

Given everything and JBL’s brand value, the pricing seems fair. Under 5K would have been great given the competition. These sports headphones emphasize durability, but you can get comparable sound and active noise cancellation for less. I thought about Rs 4,999 OnePlus Buds Z2 and Rs 3,999 Realme Buds Air 3. They also let you apply touch gestures and tweak audio with partner applications.

Energetic sound with enough bass; app modifications

Indoors, these buds are optimal at 70% volume and outdoors at 80%. Even with ‘JBL Pure Bass Sound’ on the box, there was little uncertainty. The JBL Endurance Race sounds aggressive and powerful, but the increased bass masks lower middle frequencies. The manufacturer has made sure it doesn’t affect vocal quality, which is clever since it sharpens the sound. The highs are well-tempered but sometimes too short.
