Introducing the POCO M6 5G in India: pricing, specs, and MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ with a 50MP camera
Besides the Oppo A59, several smartphones made their global debut in India today. The Poco M6, powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6100+ SoC, has 4/6/8GB of RAM and enables RAM extension for 8GB.
POCO M6 5G, the successor to M5, was introduced in India. The phone’s specs suggest it’s a rebrand of the previously released Redmi 13C 5G. POCO M6 5G has a 6.74-inch HD+ display, MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, and a 5,000mAh battery. See the full price and specs.

The Poco M6 has a 6.74-inch 720×1,600 LCD screen with 90 Hz refresh rate and up to 600-nit peak brightness, Gorilla Glass protection on top (though the version isn’t mentioned), 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, microSD expansion, dual-SIM functionality, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W
A 50 MP rear camera, dust and splash resistance, and Android 13 with MIUI 14 are its features. Starting December 26, the Poco M6 will be sold in Galactic Black and Orion Blue.
The Poco M6 costs INR 10,499 for the base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, INR 11,499 for the 6/128GB model, and INR 13,499 for the 8/256GB model. Poco claims the M6 is India’s cheapest 5G smartphone at INR 9,499 with a bank incentive.
As originally rumored, the Poco M6 appears to be a rebrand of last week’s Redmi 13C 5G. The rear design is different due to Poco’s trademark touches, but otherwise, they seem the same.
The POCO M6 5G costs Rs 10,499 for 4GB + 128GB, Rs 11,499 for 6GB + 128GB, and Rs 13,499 for 8GB + 256 GB.
Payments made with ICICI debit and credit cards and EMIs receive a Rs 1,000 discount. Airtel prepaid subscribers get 50GB more data.
Flipkart will sell the phone at midnight IST on December 26.

The POCO M6 5G features a 6.74-inch HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate, 260ppi pixel density, 1600×720 resolution, 180Hz touch sampling rate, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, TUV low blue light certification, and TUV flicker-free certification.
