In a significant move, HMD Global has revamped its online presence by removing the Nokia branding from all platforms, redirecting Nokia.com to HMD.com, and transitioning social media handles from @nokiamobile to @HMDglobal. This transition sparked speculation about the future of Nokia-branded products, but recent developments suggest otherwise.

According to a report from GSMChina, 17 new Nokia models ranging from TA-1603 to TA-1628 have been spotted on the IMEI website. These models, speculated to be diverse in specifications and variants, could potentially debut at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona from February 26 to February 29. With Nokia’s 10-year deal with HMD Global running until 2026, the emergence of new Nokia models isn’t surprising.

Meanwhile, nine new HMD-branded handsets have also appeared on the IMEI database, potentially offering a range of models or variants. Leaks hint at exciting features, with one HMD model, codenamed N159V, showcasing a sleek black design and dual rear cameras, possibly targeting the mid-range market.

Another leak unveils an HMD smartphone in a striking blue colorway, boasting a powerful 108-megapixel primary rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), housed in a distinct rectangular camera module. Despite limited information, anticipation is building for these upcoming HMD devices.
