The Google Pixel Slate (or Pixel Slate M3) is a Chrome OS tablet with a 12.3-inch screen. The Made by Google conference is where you can learn about this high-tech gadget.

Explain What The Pixel Slate Is?

The Pixel Slate is a 7-inch tablet that Google released with a keyboard and pen. The tablet’s Intel Core m3 processor runs Android 9 Pie. It has a 10-point multitouch display, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. In addition to its 8MP back camera, the Pixel Slate also sports a 5MP front-facing camera. Pixel Slate M3 is a 12.3-inch laptop featuring 8GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD, and an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor.

An Intel Core i9 processor and 16 GB of RAM are standard on one variant. Two USB Type-A 3.0 ports, an AC adapter port, a 3.5mm headphone socket, and a microSD card reader are just some of the features of the Pixel Slate M3. Refinements were made to the backlit keyboard to make typing easier, and four speakers were added to the device’s underside to ensure that users could hear their media. The Pixel Slate M3 comes in black or silver and runs on Android 9 Pie.

Display

Google Pixel Slate M3

The 12.3-inch display on the Google Pixel Slate is vivid and crisp. Excellent reproduction of the gleaming gold that decorates the dance academy’s facade and the intense red that floods across Suzy Bannion throughout the film, as well as solid and verdant greens for the ferns in the school’s lobby, were immediately apparent to me as I watched a remastered version of the 1977 film Suspiria on the Pixel Slate.

Smaller ripples in the school pool and the texture of the blue velour walls in the foyer were among the many fine things I noticed on the Slate’s 3,000 x 2,000-pixel panel. The Pixel Slate’s display achieves 120 per cent of the sRGB colour spectrum, slightly better than the Pixelbook’s average of 116 per cent and its 117 per cent rating. While the Surface Pro 6 (136%) and iPad Pro (128%) scored somewhat higher, the Galaxy Book 2’s screen scored an impressive 200%.

This means your material can be interacted with and navigated with no effort. The screen’s 3000 x 2000 resolution is adequate for media consumption, including reading, writing, and watching movies. The display can also accept input via a stylus, making it possible to take notes or draw on the screen. Regarding data storage, the Google Pixel Slate has 64GB built right in, which should be enough for the typical user. The storage may be expanded, though, with a microSD card if you need it.

Utilizable Tool

The Google Pixel Slate M3 is a highly effective tool for getting work done. It has many helpful functions that facilitate effective planning, group effort, and individual productivity. The Pixel Slate M3 excels in productivity thanks mainly to its seamless compatibility with Google’s suite of productivity apps. These tools make it simple to communicate with others and maintain order by allowing you to create and modify documents, spreadsheets, and presentations in real time.

You can keep on top of your schedule and get more done quickly with the help of the device’s integrated Google Assistant. The Google Pixel Slate M3 has several protections to keep your data private. In-built anti-malware defences and frequent security updates protect your device and data. Thanks to the built-in fingerprint sensor and facial recognition technology, you can quickly and safely unlock your device with just a touch or a glance.

Bluetooth

Google Pixel Slate M3

When using Bluetooth headphones and a Bluetooth keyboard with my Pixel Slate, I encountered two strange and vexing problems. My music, for one, kept shutting off on me. My headphones, first my Apple AirPods and later my Bose QuietComfort 35, have randomly lost connectivity. On one occasion, the connection stabilized itself after a little pause on my part, but on other occasions, I had to re-pair it manually. I’ve asked Google if a fix works and will revise this review accordingly.

Audio

As a music player, the Google Pixel Slate holds its own. I filled the dining room, two adjoining rooms, and even the laundry machines in the attic with the powerful riffs and belting vocals of post-punk outfit Idles as I streamed their music on the Slate. The Pixel Slate’s two front-facing speakers produce tremendous power and sound pretty good, with punchy bass and clear vocals.

Conclusion

The Google Pixel Slate M3 is the best tablet money can buy if you need a device to do it all. For those who need a tablet for work or play, go no further than this one. The Pixel Slate M3 provides all the tools you need to complete your work, whether writing an article, editing images, or creating a spreadsheet.
