Playing Career
Sinfield started his rugby league career with Waterhead ARLFC, producing Barrie McDermott, Paul Sculthorpe, Danny Sculthorpe, Paul Highton, Lee Jewitt, Marc Sneyd, and Gareth Owen. Need citation: Leeds hired him in August 1997.

A Peek Into His Coaching And Management Career
Sinfield became Rugby Director of the Rugby Football League (RFL) in August 2016, assessing and implementing England’s performance strategy for the 2021 World Cup. He returned to Leeds Rhinos as their first Director of Rugby in July 2018. Sinfield departed Leeds midway through 2021 to become Leicester Tigers’ defense coach.
