OnePlus Pad 2 Review: What Works and What Falls Short
My old tablet was slow. Caused problems. It took a long time to load apps, it was hard to switch between apps, and the battery did not last long enough for work. It was okay for tasks, but when I tried to do too many things at once, it slowed down.
I chose the OnePlus Pad 2 to solve these problems. I needed a faster tablet with a battery life and a comfortable screen to look at.

Design & Build

The OnePlus Pad 2 has a design. The tablet is made with a metal body that does not bend easily. After using it for a while, I felt the weight of the OnePlus Pad 2. This happened when I held it in bed for thirty minutes, and my hands got tired.
The buttons on the OnePlus Pad 2 are in place. The volume and power buttons are easy to reach. The OnePlus Pad 2 design is comfortable to use on a desk. It can be heavy if I use it for a long time.
Display & Media Experience

The screen on the OnePlus Pad 2 is great. The pictures look nice and not too bright. I spent a lot of time watching Netflix and YouTube on the OnePlus Pad 2, and the screen made it easy to watch movies and long videos.
When I used the OnePlus Pad 2, the screen was bright enough. When I used it outside,e the screen was still good but not great in the sun. I could still use it. I saw reflections on the screen.
The sound on the OnePlus Pad 2 is also good. The four speakers are loud and clear with bass for a tablet. When I watched videos on the OnePlus Pad, 2 the voices were clear. I did not need to use headphones most of the time.
Performance & Multitasking

The OnePlus Pad 2 is fast when I use it. It opens apps quickly. Switches between them easily. I tried using the OnePlus Pad 2 with email, Chrome with tabs, notes,s and YouTube on the side, and it did not slow down.
The OnePlus Pad 2 stays fast when I work on it. It does not get slow when I use many apps at the same time.
I also tried playing games on the OnePlus Pad 2 by playing BGMI for one hour with the settings. The OnePlus Pad 2 stayed smooth with frames, but after one hour,r I felt some heat and minor issues with performance. The OnePlus Pad 2 is not meant for gaming. It can handle games well.
Battery Life

I was really impressed with how the battery lasted in my daily life. I started with a charge in the morning and used it for email, ls browsing, and some light work. By the end of the day, I still had around 35 to 40 percent left.
When I used it for streaming Netflix and YouTube for an hour, the battery did drain faster,r but it still lasted the whole day without any issues. I found that with a mix of us, es the battery life felt really balanced and reliable.
I did a test where I used it for 2 hours of video calls, 3 hours of browsing, and 1.5 hours of video streaming. With all that use, it still lasted till late in the evening.
The charging speed is really quick with the 67W adapter. It can go from dead to a usable level in just a short break. A full charge doesn’t take either,r especially compared to my older tablets.
Real World Usage
For work, I used it to manage emails, write documents, and browse websites with multiple tabs. It remained snappy, and I did not notice any lag in task switching.
For fun, I watched Netflix and YouTube. The large screen and consistent video quality made watching movies immersive. I could use it for extended periods without discomfort.
On the road, I read articles and watched offline videos. It was okay to hold for long periods for short periods, but not for long periods without support. It was great for air travel and short journeys where mobility and convenience were key.
