Microsoft Copilot App Is Now Available

Microsoft’s Android Copilot app gives customers immediate access to the AI-driven tool and offers chatbot, image, and text-writing features.

Microsoft Copilot App Is Now Available

Microsoft released an Android-only Copilot app. Users will no longer need the Bing mobile app to use Copilot. This new Google Play Store app gives customers direct access to Microsoft’s AI-powered Copilot. Android has been available for a week, unlike iOS.Microsoft’s Copilot app for Android, like ChatGPT, features chatbots, DALL-E 3 picture generation, and email and document text editing. It gives users free access to OpenAI’s powerful GPT-4 model, which ChatGPT charges for.

Let’s have a look at the video:

Microsoft rebranded Bing Chat to Copilot a month before this launch. Copilot, the ChatGPT-like interface in search results, debuted in Bing earlier this year and is now a different experience. Like ChatGPT, it has its domain at copilot.microsoft.com.

Mobile apps for Copilot are a natural extension of the solo experience. As Bing Chat Enterprise became Copilot, this transfer occurred. There is no iOS version yet, but one is expected. Copilot capabilities are available in the Bing app for iPhone and iPad until the iOS version is released. This shows Microsoft’s desire to streamline its AI-driven capabilities to give Copilot users a unique and comprehensive experience.

Copilot’s availability as a separate app on Android supports the company’s ambition to offer versatile and user-friendly AI-powered solutions across different platforms, with iOS plans expected to follow. According to Google Play, the new software is called ‘Microsoft Copilot’ and is manufactured by Microsoft Corporation. Microsoft describes the app as ‘Your everyday AI companion’. The app has slightly over 5,000 Android Play Store downloads.

How Does The Microsoft Copilot Works?

Copilot’s functionality is comparable to ChatGPT’s Android app earlier this year. Copilot will enable chatbot interactions, DALL-E 3 picture creation, and email and document writing. It provides free access to OpenAI’s latest GPT-4 model, which normally requires a ChatGPT subscription. The new software allows voice input. You can input images and text into the program. Over a month ago, Microsoft renamed Bing Chat Copilot. Microsoft’s AI initially displayed ChatGPT-like search results in Bing. Microsoft now promotes Copilot as a separate platform, although this capability remains. It is also available at copilot.microsoft.com.

Copilot’s new mobile apps help separate it from other platforms. This follows Bing Chat Enterprise’s name change to Copilot. There is no iOS version of Copilot yet, but it should be shortly. IOS users can now use Copilot on iPhones and iPads with Bing.
