Intel MediaTek Helio G88 System on a Chip powers the Infinix Hot 40, Infinix Hot 40 Pro, and Infinix Hot 40i. For better game performance, all three versions come with an Xboost engine. Read on to know more.

Several international markets have seen the release of the Infinix Hot 40, Hot 40 Pro, and Hot 40i. Smartphones in the Infinix Hot 40 series come with 32-megapixel front-facing cameras and 5,000mAh batteries. The MediaTek Helio G99 powers the Infinix Hot 40 Pro, whereas the MediaTek Helio G88 powers the Infinix Hot 40. On the other hand, the Unisoc T606 SoC powers the entry-level Infinix Hot 40i.  A trio of back cameras is standard on the Infinix Hot 40 and Hot 40 Pro. A 50-megapixel dual-back camera set is available on the Infinix Hot 40i.

Hot 40, Hot 40 Pro, and Hot 40i prices

Infinix has not revealed pricing or availability for the new Hot 40, Hot 40 Pro, and Hot 40i. Market prices will vary, but the lineup will cost under $200 (Rs. 16,000). The Infinix Hot 40 comes in Palm Blue, Horizon Gold, Starlit Black, and Starfall Green. The 4GB RAM + 128GB Infinix Hot 40i costs SAR 375 (Rs. 8,300) in Saudi Arabia. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option costs SAR 465 (Rs. 10,300).

Infinix Hot 40 Specifications

The dual-SIM (Nano) Infinix Hot 40 runs Android 13-based XOS 13.5 on a 6.78-inch full-HD (1,080×2,460 pixels) IPS LTPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen brightness peaks at 500 nits. The new phone boasts a MediaTek Helio G88, Xboost, and 8 GB of RAM. The game engine may boost hardware performance. Use space to nearly quadruple RAM to 16GB. The Infinix Hot 40 sports a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and an AI camera. Side fingerprint sensors provide biometric authentication. The Hot 40 has 33W fast charging and a 5,000mAh battery from Infinix. It measures 168.61 by 76.61 by 8.25 mm and weighs 196 grams.

Infinix Hot 40 Pro specifications

The Infinix Hot 40 Pro shares SIM, software, and display specs with the Hot 40. Pro’s display offers an adaptive refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz. It has a MediaTek Helio G99, 8GB of RAM, Xboost, and up to 256GB of storage. Onboard RAM can be practically expanded to 16GB and storage to 1TB via microSD card.

The Infinix Hot 40 Pro has an AI camera, a 108-megapixel primary camera, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. It boasts a 32-megapixel selfie and video chat camera. Sensors and connectivity are comparable to the Infinix Hot 40. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. The Infinix Hot 40 Pro has a 33W-fast-charging 5,000mAh battery. It weighs 199 grams and measures 168.6 x 76.6 x 8.25 mm.

Infinix Hot 40i Specifications

The dual-SIM (Nano) Infinix Hot 40i runs Android 13-based XOS 13.0 and has a 6.56-inch HD+ (720×1,612 pixels) LCD with 480 nits of peak brightness and a customizable refresh rate from 60Hz to 90Hz. The Unisoc T606 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, an Xboost gaming engine, and up to 256GB of storage power the new smartphone. Up to 1TB can be added via microSD card. The Infinix Hot 40i has an AI-backed dual camera with a 50-megapixel main sensor for photos and movies. A 32-megapixel selfie camera is on the front. Sensors and connectivity are the same as in the Infinix Hot 40 and Hot 40 Pro. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Infinix Hot 40i has an 18W fast-charging 5,000mAh battery. 163.59×75.59×8.30mm, 190 grams.
