The Batman actor and Daisy Jones & Six Actress are reportedly getting married after 5 years of dating

The proposal

Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse are engaged as confirmed by a source close to the couple on December 21 to the People Magazine.

The Twilight crush proposed to her longtime girlfriend, and soon-to-be mom, posting their pregnancy announcement in November only.

Robert proposed to her amidst their first pregnancy and when many fans were expecting engagement rumors after Daisy Jones and 6 actresses were spotted with a huge diamond ring on “that” finger.

The source revealed it to People magazine, “They are engaged. They both want to be married. It’s important for them.” 

The couple has always been private about their relationship and are now ready to tie the knot and expect their first child together.  Exciting days coming for the couple.

The pregnancy announcement

Suki first announced her pregnancy in November, during her performance at the Corona Capital 2023 Music Festival in Mexico City.

The Bad Batch actress took to the stage, and said “I thought I’d wear something sparkly to distract you from something else I’ve got going on,” signaling towards her baby bump, and continued, “I’m not sure it’s working.”

Also, many fans believed this was not the first time the couple sparked engagement rumors since they started dating in 2018. Suki in January 2020, was spotted with a delicate gold band on “that” finger at Dior Party in Paris. Everyone thought that the duo was engaged and was just waiting for the confirmation. however, rumors died down since Robert wasn’t wearing one.

Dating Journey

If we take a look at their dating timeline, the beautiful couple started dating in July 2018 and quarantined together during the COVID-19 lockdown in March 2020 at Robert’s London house.

The Twilight star was the first one that hinted at their relationship in an interview together with GQ, where he admitted he is not quarantined “alone,” and off-handedly mentioned “my girlfriend” at one point, though didn’t refer to Suki by name.

Post that, next year in April 2021, Suki’s post went viral as everyone could see Suki and Robert kissing picture in a frame behind her.

The Seance actress also confirmed the rumors indirectly when she attacked Gossip Girl for not believing Waterhouse could be Batman star’s girlfriend. The line was when the character Luna said to Zoya, “When are you going to get it? As far as the press is concerned, he’s R-Patz and you’re Suki Nobody.”

Coming to 2023, Fans are just excited to see the couple sharing their first marriage and baby.
