Jonathan Bailey is onto his new role for the upcoming movie ‘Wicked’ and is excited about this new movie. The actor went on record complimenting his co-star for his incredible performance in ‘Wicked’. As per people, he expressed his gratitude for sharing the stage with the Grammy-winning actress Cynthia Erivo. In an interview with people, Bailey said, “Seeing her perform is just incredible!

The British actor Jonathan Bailey plays Elphaba’s love interest, Fiyero, in the eagerly awaited two-part Wicked movie. And Cynthia Erivo plays the wicked witch of the West in the movie. The movie also has some other stars like Ariana Grande, Ethan Slater, and Keala Settle Bailey are very optimistic that both newcomers and fans of Wicked will end up loving what they see.

He teases, “It’s going to blow people’s minds. So, get set. You have a year to get ready.

Bailey, 35, had to manage a hectic schedule to be able to star in Wicked. In a single week, he shot scenes in Toronto on Friday for Showtime’s Fellow Travellers, which co-stars Matt Bomer, and in London on Saturday for parts of Bridgerton. On Sunday, he practiced choreography for Wicked with Ariana Grande. The actor refers to this time as a “wild time.”

In the interview, Bailey also opened up about the entire cast, and how the entire cast has been, and still is a huge fan of theatre. In the interview, Jonathan said,

“Everyone who’s involved is a theatre nerd.”

The ‘Wicked’ film is due in November 2024 & another part will be released in November 2025 as of now. Meaning, the stars had to be on their toes and the excellent cast of Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum & Bowen Yang have been working dedicatedly on the big project as per sources.
