Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro: An Honest Review
True wireless earphones under Rs. 5,000 can have active noise cancellation (ANC), and firms are pushing the limits of performance and functionality. Recent Realme and OnePlus models show that inexpensive TWS can have working ANC and decent sound quality. Oppo enters with the Enco Air 2 Pro, its latest true wireless headphones. After the Enco Air 2, the Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro was released for Rs. 3,499 with improved in-canal fit and active noise cancellation. It costs less than the OnePlus Buds Z2, its main competitor.

Design
Too many true wireless earbuds have identical designs, making them hard to distinguish. Oppo offers white and grey, and our review item was grey. The flat pebble casing is shiny. It has little fingerprints and smudges. The case fits into jeans without protruding. The earbuds are pleasant and fit well. Don’t worry about them sliding off. Even after two hours, the earbuds don’t cause weariness. Oppo includes silicon tips in the packaging to help you fit.
Performance
Pairing the Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro is simple. We had no trouble with an iPhone 13 and a OnePlus 10 Pro. The Hey Melody app, with an enhanced user interface, may personalise controls and settings. We hardly used the app. The Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro comes with 12.4mm drivers and also know for its great sound. We were astonished to see such clarity on the Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro’s inexpensive price. Oppo Enco Are 2 Pro’s sound quality is great, whether it’s Punjabi or Harry Styles. The Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro may be the best-sounding earbuds for around Rs 4,000. They are excellent value. The instrument separation, treble, and bass are all well done. Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro’s sound quality will impress. If the volume is too loud, many budget earbuds sound harsh. Or the treble goes off track, while the Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro does not.
Features
Take the earbuds out of the casing and touch and hold both for 4 seconds to pair. Open Bluetooth settings on your phone and connect to the Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro when it identifies it. After being connected, the buds and case’s battery capacities will appear. Wear detection and dual-device connection are on the headset. A dual-device connection lets you attach the buds to two devices at once for easy switching between phone music and laptop video. Long-press for 4 seconds to switch. Just download the Hey Melody app on your Android or iOS phone to customise touch controls, music modes, and more.

Sound Quality
Deep bass and immersive sound come from the Enco Buds Air 2 Pro’s wide back chamber and 12.4-mm titanium-coated diaphragm driver. The bass boost setting doesn’t help, but AAC increases audio clarity and bass balance. The 12.4mm diaphragm driver handles lows, mids, and highs well. The lows of Lucky Ali’s Ek pal ka Jeena and Taal se Taal Mila’s title track with continuous drumbeats sound good. A Thousand Years’ piano mids sound peaceful at medium volume but choppy at maximum volume.
Battery
Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro Buds have a 43 mAh battery that lasts 7 hours without ANC and 5 hours with ANC at 50% volume. My use was slightly less, as the buds lasted 4.5 hours with ANC and 6.5 hours without. The case’s 440 mAh battery lasts 25 hours without ANC and 19 hours with it. This is less than the Realme Buds Air 3’s case battery life, but it works. If the indicator light is green, the battery is full; yellow is medium; and red is low. The Hey Melody app on your smartphone shows the battery status when the buds are in the case. The case takes 1 hour and 45 minutes to charge from 0 to 100%, and there is no wireless charging.
Should you buy the Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro TWS?
The Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro has good audio, touch controls, ANC, and battery life. The item performed well in my use. Its case was easy to scratch and smear and not water-resistant. Otherwise, the case and earbuds are attractive, lightweight, and comfortable to wear for long periods. The Hey Melody app controls many elements of the TWS earbuds, plus wear detection and dual device pairing make them a good value for under $4,000. Using the Enco Air 2 Pro with an Oppo smartphone is significantly easier.
