Design
The Vivo Y27 surprised us in quite the best possible way when we received it with its lightweight and slim design. The matte finish given to the whole of the back panel was just a cherry on top. The body is made of frosted plastic which makes it quite pleasing to look at. On the back, it has a circular big ring with a camera and flashlight in it. This ring is made of chrome and gives the phone a premium look. It was everything we could ask for with its stylish looks and large display.
Audio quality
The Vivo Y27 has loudspeakers which we found to be decent. The audio quality was nothing to write home about with its speakers being ok enough to play songs with clear voice and an okay bass. We found a troubleshooting problem in it with regards to vibration so that was a point off in our books.
Software and Connectivity
The Vivo Y27 has an Android v12 OS topped with FunTouch OS12 skin. We found it to be quite smooth running with this software. The User Interface was also quite friendly and easy to use. Its processor integrates the whole experience of the phone as well as the connections it makes. The calling experience was clear even with its 4g VoLTE. The Bluetooth 5.0 also went to a long-range with good GPS connections.

Battery and Charging
The Vivo Y27 has quite a good battery life with its 5000mAh battery. We found it lasting up to more than 20 hours on heavy use. For light users, this phone would be a dream with it lasting them for about 2 days minimum. The charging experience also did not disappoint us, as it had reverse charging features so it essentially turned into a power bank at the time of need.

Should I buy a Vivo Y27 or not?
With all the amazing features we would still not recommend you to go for the Vivo Y27. It has its flaws and if you can look past them you might see its good qualities. As for us, we are stuck on these flaws only.
Verdict
The Vivo Y27 was a good-looking phone but left much to be desired. It is a major problem for photographers with low-performing cameras and lower memory. Even though you have a solution for low memory storage you still need to think about your choices before making them.
