With the Infinix Smart 8HD, Infinix has introduced its inexpensive smartphone lineup in India. The ‘Magic Ring’ function, like the Dynamic Island cutout on the iPhone 14 Pro, and the 8-megapixel front camera with flash are industry firsts.

The Infinix Smart 8 HD smartphone has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD HD+ screen, a side fingerprint sensor, and up to 3GB of RAM. It also supports a 90Hz refresh rate.

You can choose from four colors: Galaxy White, Timber Black, Crystal Green, and Shiny Gold. The model with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage costs Rs 6,299 on the smartphone. The smartphone is available at an introductory price of Rs 5,699, with an additional 10% instant discount when paid with an Axis Bank card. On December 13, it will be available for purchase on Flipkart.

Details and Characteristics of the Infinix Smart 8HD

With its octa-core Unisoc T606 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 64GB of UFS 2.2 storage, the Infinix Smart 8HD is a powerful device. Users can add up to 2TB more storage space by utilizing a micro SD card. It has a 6.6-inch IPS HD+ screen with 500 nits of peak brightness, a 180 Hz touch sampling rate, and a 90 Hz refresh rate.

Regarding the optics, the manufacturer has incorporated a dual-camera system consisting of a 13-megapixel shooter and an additional “AI lens.”

The quad LED ring flash is a standout feature of this camera system that lets you capture beautifully lighted scenes. A front-facing light and an 8-megapixel selfie camera are on the front of the device.

A fingerprint scanner on the device’s side shows that Infinix has also prioritized biometric security. It also has a facial unlock feature. A USB-C charging port is also available for the 5,000 mAh battery that powers everything. An important selling point is the device’s Magic Ring functionality, based on Android 13 Go and embedded into XOS 13. It opens the door to new animations for charging, low battery life alerts, face unlocking, and phone calls.
