GMAT

Every international student who wishes to join a business and management school should appear for the GMAT or the Graduate Management Admission Test. The GMAT syllabus aims to evaluate the applicant’s analytical, reading, and writing skills in the English language. The student should have a minimum age of 18 or above. The average cut-off score for the top business schools is 550 or more.

GMAT syllabus 2023

The latest GMAT Syllabus is different compared to the earlier one. The main points of the current syllabus are given here for information.

The GMAT Math syllabus will now have reflection questions;

The latest GMAT syllabus will also include conversion questions;

The questions will have options like “both” and “neither.”

Now, Coordinate geometry is also added to the GMAT curriculum;

There have been other significant changes in the GMAT Online Exam and curriculum. It’s now called the “Enhanced GMAT Online Exam – Addition of the GMAT AWA Section.”

GMAT Question Paper Pattern

The GMAT exam will have the following sections:

The exam takes 3 hours and 30 minutes, including two optional eight-minute breaks of 8 minutes each.

You are free to decide on your preferred order at the start of the exam. As per the latest notification of GMAC, the provision to Select Section Order would allow you to select the order of the sections through which you want to take your exam.

Different Sections in the GMAT Syllabus

The syllabus has the following four sections:

It’s important to know that sometimes an un-scored section is included in your test. Besides, there may be an identified research section at the end.

GRE Maths syllabus plays a significant role in the exam. Maths is a high-scoring subject; if you perform well on this paper, your overall score will improve tremendously.
