For The 1st Time: AI Tool Used For Real-time Translation of PM Modi’s Speech Into Tamil
The Bhashini technology, driven by artificial intelligence, was utilized by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide a real-time translation of his Hindi speech to his Tamil audience.

The ‘Bhashini‘ technology uses artificial intelligence to translate between different Indian languages, allowing speakers of one language to converse with those of another who do not understand their home tongue. You may get to it using the corresponding applications for Android and iOS. A dedicated “Bhasadaan” part of the app lets users pitch in with various crowdsourcing projects. As part of his two-day tour, Prime Minister Modi will unveil and inaugurate 37 projects in Varanasi and Purvanchal, with a combined value of over Rs 19,000 crore.
