Elon Musk Says Oil and Gas Should Not Be Demonized
Next year’s budget for Italy will include approximately 1 billion euros ($1.09 billion) to address the country’s demographic crisis.

Musk has stated his intention to become an environmentalist and has emphasized the need for businesses to eventually cut down on the billions of tonnes of carbon dioxide they release into the air when they burn fossil fuels. He said, “We should not demonize oil and gas in the medium term,” while addressing a meeting of the right-wing political party of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in Rome.

While I believe Italy to be an excellent investment destination, I must stress my concern over the country’s low birth rate. He worried about the future of employment in the country if the workforce declined.
Noting that a nation cannot rely just on immigration flows to bridge the gap, he urged the Italian government to establish incentives for families to increase the number of children they have. This past year had the lowest birth rate in Italy since the country’s unification in 1861, continuing a 14-year trend.
