Marvel’s Avengers Secret Wars: Fans Not So Happy With Its Two-Hour-Long Movie
Marvel’s Avengers Secret Wars
Amidst the turbulent times at Marvel Studios, Jonathan Majors was recently let go from his role as Kang the Conqueror. And before that, the miserable box office performance of The Marvels. In the midst of all of this, a source has provided some encouraging news regarding Avengers: Secret Wars, the sixth Avengers film.
A lot of rumors have been made about the upcoming Marvel film; some even stated that it will reunite the original Avengers, which included Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye. Regarding the film’s director, Shawn Levi, who directed Deadpool 3, and Sam Raimi, who directed Doctor Strange 2, were considered for the role.
Jeff Sneider stated in a Culture Crave article on X that there will be two films in the Avengers: Secret Wars series. According to reports, the movie will run for five hours, with a one-year intermission. It sounds similar to what Marvel did in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, the last two movies in the Infinity Saga. However, there is currently no information regarding the identity of the film’s primary antagonist.
Some fans even conjectured that the Secret Wars film could be the fifth and sixth Avengers film in two parts, given that Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is now purportedly being referred to as Avengers 5. Marvel has not yet provided any confirmation, but the movie Avengers: Secret Wars is scheduled for release in 2027.
