After attending a Barbie event, the former cast member of Gossip Girl shared a heartfelt tribute to her former costar America Ferrera from Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

Weeks designated for the man in your life exist. On December 17, the actress from A Simple Favor wrote on Instagram, saying a few weeks are only for women. The actress further celebrated her sister America Ferrera and mentioned her achievement in the Barbie movie.

Blake went on to gush over her previous costar’s Barbie performance, joining Sisterhood stars Alexis Bledel and Amber Tamblyn in supporting America at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation panel on December 15 in New York City.

“I’ve never seen anything on screen that felt as real as the speech she gives as Gloria. since she is who she is.” The Age of Adaline star continued and mentioned how she is passionate, inspiring & full of heart & life. Blake showed her sister a lot of support and shared her excitement saying, “I’m excited to see her sweeping accolades across her living room floor. Nobody is more deserving of it after a lifetime of outstanding work,” she went on.

Naturally, Blake was unable to refrain from promoting the central idea of the actress’s 2005 movie. “Pants = Love,” was her final comment on the post. “Have affection for your sisters. Love who you are.”
