The actress explained that she believed it was a trained spider, however, the spider bit her. When Jimmy Fallon asked her what happened, she explained saying, “The thing just starts biting me,” She went on to say that the team thought she was just acting and didn’t realize it was serious. “I had to scream because we were in the middle of the scene. However, I started screaming a little too loudly. They believed that I was acting out dramatic decisions out of a romantic comedy. It was awful. I’m screaming as this spider bites my arm and I’m simply standing there with everyone staring,” she continued.

The Hollywood actress explained how co-star Glen Powell noticed the situation and came to the rescue.  As the team medic attended to Sydney’s wounds, the staff who attended to the actress’s wounds made light of the fact that the spider bite had turned her into Spider-Woman. Sydney explained how she thought she might die and practically yelled on set.
