The Singer Mariah Carey and her long-time boyfriend, Tanaka might have gone their separate ways, sparking speculation about the future of their relationship. Read below for more.

The All I Want for Christmas is You singer and her boyfriend have reportedly split up, according to the sources who spoke with People.
Speculations arose when Tanaka was absent from Carey’s Merry Christmas One and All! tour since mid-November.
Fans suspect split rumours to be true since the couple before being a couple has worked together for so many years.
Moreover, Carey, mom of 12-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex-husband, Nick Cannon is currently celebrating the holidays in Aspen without Tanaka, which will mark the first time since 2006 when the creative director and the singer wouldn’t be traveling together for a holiday getaway.

The couple was last seen together on the We Belong Together singer’s birthday, when Tanaka took to social media to wish her special lady the happiest birthday with a cute picture of them cuddling together.
“This is one of my favorite pictures. Ever. Happy Anniversary my Beautiful Queen. 🦋3/27🦋❤️,” he captioned the post.
When asked for an official statement on the split rumors, Reps for Carey have declined to comment on the matter.

The singer and the creative director first met on the singer’s Adventures of Mimi tour in 2006. It was after working together for almost a decade, that the choreographer and the Fantasy singer finally started dating in 2016.
The iconic duo had a brief period of break up in 2017, they have always toured and celebrated Christmas together since then.
The choreographer Tanaka was on stage with the It’s a Wrap singer in 2017 and was part of her annual Aspen holiday trip together where he celebrated Christmas with Mariah’s twins.
At that time, Carey also took to Instagram to share the lovely pictures from the getaway and festivities with the caption, “Hey” #NoSkis 🎿⛷❤️.
Even up till in 2022, Carey shared the picture of her Christmas celebration
in Aspen with Tanaka and her kids, captioning it “Happy Boxing Day! ❄️🎄❤️ (Every day is a celebration! 🎉🎉🎁).”
Although most recently, she in an interview with People for their digital cover story, shared her 2023 annual holiday plans, revealed that I’ve been looking forward to this Christmas for, like, the whole year. Since last year — because last year wasn’t the greatest, “I’m thankful for them all, but it wasn’t my most fun version of Christmas ever.” “Come hell or high water, this year, this Christmas, we are going to have fun,” she added.
This put everyone again the speculation that Tanaka was not there, confirming the split rumors.
