The relationship between Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson has taken a legal turn, with both parties making serious accusations against each other.

Here’s a breakdown of the latest developments:

Keke Palmer Files for Sole Custody and Restraining Order:

In November, Keke filed legal papers demanding a restraining order against Darius and sole custody of their son Leo. They said he had abused her physically.

According to court papers obtained by US Weekly, Darius is accused of intruding on and threatening Keke as well as actually attacking her.

Keke says she has security camera footage of what happened on November 5, and cites there being “many instances” like this in front of their son.

Darius Jackson Denies Allegations and Claims Keke Was the Aggressor:

Darius rejects Keke’s assertions. He says he went to pick up Leo and ended up in an argument with her mother.

TMZ sources say that Keke’s mother threatened Darius once, after which he tried to take her phone (Keke says this was abusive).

Darius says that he has no police record, and the police didn’t find probable cause for arrest.

Court Hearing Moved to Private Resolution:

It is also reported that both sides agreed to settle the dispute out of court. Keke applied to move the restraining order hearing from the court and take care of it privately.

New Twist: Darius Accuses Keke of Abuse:

Darius alleges in a December 18 filing that Keke was the “primary aggressor,” and she physically and verbally attacked him.

Keke used abusive language and punched him, struck at and choked him during such fly-flapping incidents. According to documents it is recorded that he hit his head on the wall or window several times back when they lived in an apartment before hitting each other with their fists many a time later. Darius wants joint legal and physical custody of their son.

Their fairytale began in May 2021, when they met at an after-party for the popular HBO series Insecure. From that first meeting, “sparks flew” and by March of this year Keke told Bustle magazine gushingly, “This is the happiest I’ve ever felt with someone.”
