BTS’ V Surprises Fans With The New Military Buzz Cut Ahead of Army Enlistment
The singer V from the popular K-pop Band, BTS shaves his head before the compulsory military enlistment; Fans express sadness by saying “Put your hair back“.
Brace yourself ARMYs as the BTS member, V recently shared an update on his social media account, showing a pile of hair scattered on the floor, suggesting that your favorite K-pop star is all set to prepare for his military enlistment.
BigHit Music announced that the wait was over and V would be starting his enlistment process followed by the other band members including, Jungkook, and Jimin.
K-Pop Boy Band BTS’s other 4 members including Suga, Jin, and J-Hope are already serving their mandatory time whereas now’s the time for the other 4 members- Jimin, V, RM, and Jungkook.
The 27-year-old Korean popstar V aka Taehyung and their band leader RM aka Namjoon will start their training from tomorrow onwards. V’s story went viral on Instagram when he shared the picture with his new look saying, “Sweet Night”. Also, in another picture, he says, “This was my dream. A shaved head and sunglasses… I always wanted to try it someday, so it worked out well.”
There have also been some speculations about Jungkook has also chopped all his hair, and the Maknae boy has been hiding it from the armies with a baseball cap since he is also to begin his training in December only.
Is this cut mandate?
Every time it is a mandate in South Korea, when celebrities begin with their enlistment, they have to typically shave their heads to mark this buzz cut which is very popularly known as the military look.
This is a very common practice there and had to be a mandate for all so that there is no distinction between the other recruits in the army enlisted and the K-Pop celebrities. It also is a huge sign of commitment Korean boys deliver for their country which gives a detailed insight about the army’s disciplined lifestyle as they strive for excellence in every aspect of their service.
